Guides for the task you are doing
Short steps for the work residents, contractors and town staff do each week. Pick the guide for the task, follow the numbered steps, and check what happens next at the end of each guide.
Browse by audience
Each guide names who it is for. The steps use the same words you see on the screen, so you can match the guide to the button in front of you.
Applicant
Create an account, apply for a permit, upload plans, pay a fee and check status.
Contractor
Use the same steps as an applicant, and keep every project for your business on one account.
Staff
Intake, review, fees and notices all happen on the same record, so the guide you read matches the record you open.
Inspector
Request, schedule and record inspections, and keep the office in sync from a phone.
Administrator
Set permit types, fees, workflows, checklists and templates, then test a record before you publish.
Anyone checking a record
Search a public record by number, address or parcel, and read status and the next step.

Support contact and how to ask for help
Guides do not replace town staff on permit decisions. Use the contact below when a step does not match your screen.
Tell the town office what you were trying to do, the record number if you have one, and the exact message you saw. A screenshot helps, but leave out card numbers, passwords and other private details.
For a product question, use the demo request form and choose the topic you want to see first. For an account, payment or inspection question about your record, contact the town office that issued the record. Staff can see the full history on the record and can help with the next step.
- Check the guide for the same task before you call, the steps may have changed with a new screen
- Write down the record number, invoice number or case number where the guide shows it
- Do not share card numbers or passwords by email or in a support message
- Keep your receipt number, it links your payment to your record
